  17.     I wonder if anyone can help me on this problem trying to use
  18. Winsock 1.0 Revision A.  with SLIP.  I am to figure out if I am 
  19. doing something wrong or if it is something else...
  20. The problem arise when I am tryin to use bootp...

  22. Here's what works:
  23.  
  24. 1.  If I use UMSLIP or GOSLIP, then I have to use "bootp" for the 
  25.     ip address.
  26.  
  27. 2.  If I use winsock (aka tcpman)'s DIALER, then I have to use
  28.     "BOOTP" in all caps or "0.0.0.0" for me to get it to work.
  29.  
  30.     I have no problem with the login script etc etc. 
  31.     What's puzzling is that when I use bootp (small caps)
  32.     as mentioned in the install.txt it just comes up and 
  33.     says "unable to load TCP"
  34.  
  35. Why is this so?  Has anyone experienced this sort of thing?
